Asset Allocation

Global Alpha I/Global Tactical Asset Allocation®

The Global Tactical Asset Allocation strategy seeks attractive alpha opportunities within a diverse set of alpha generating strategies: stocks versus bonds within each country, stocks versus stocks between countries, bonds versus bonds between countries, and across currencies. It is designed to exceed the return of a global balanced benchmark.

Advanced Beta

The Advanced Beta strategy utilizes a balanced risk allocation approach that invests in a broad set of asset classes including developed and emerging market equities, global bonds, inflation-linked bonds, commodities, and global REITS. The strategy is designed to be responsive to risk levels in the overall economy and helps to provide downside protection during volatile periods.

Dynamic Alternatives Tracker

The Dynamic Alternatives Tracker strategy seeks to replicate hedge fund returns and alleviate downside risk. We tactically allocate to managed futures during periods of high volatility and risk aversion, taking advantage of their historically negative correlation with market volatility.

Target Maturity

Target Maturity funds invest in a proprietary blend of global investment products, seeking capital appreciation and wealth preservation through a variety of market cycles. Individual component strategies are allocated in an effort to produce appropriate risk/return characteristics based on investors’ expected retirement date.

Tactical Asset Allocation

The Tactical Asset Allocation strategy consistently applies a structured, analytical framework to seek the most attractive asset mix among U.S. equity, bond, and cash markets. The strategy is designed to generate returns in excess of a balanced benchmark over a market cycle.

Enhanced Asset Allocation

The Enhanced Asset Allocation strategy utilizes the same methodology as our Tactical Asset Allocation strategy with additional alpha sources, including a proprietary option valuation and futures-based strategy. It may also allocate to an enhanced large cap core security selection strategy.
